What does an "eco-friendly" event planner do?
As one of Toronto's first eco-friendly event planning companies, we spend a lot of time answering questions like "what does an eco-friendly planner do?", and "what makes a wedding or event eco-friendly?". We will be answering the second question in our next blog post, but for today let's talk about the first.
Eco-friendly event planners draw on their wealth of knowledge pertaining to green products and practices to help you (our client) host a sustainable or zero waste event. Our main goal is to lower the carbon footprint of the event and help eliminate as much unnecessary waste as possible.
Carbon Footprint = A carbon footprint is historically defined as the total greenhouse gas emissions caused by an individual, event, organization, or product, expressed as a carbon dioxide equivalent.
